Data collected

We collect only the data required for the purposes described below:

• Contact form: name, email address and message content.
• Newsletter: email address.
• Browsing: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) logged by the hosting provider for website security and, with your consent, visitor statistics.

No sensitive data is collected.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to your requests and preparing for a potential collaboration: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• Sending the newsletter: consent (Article 6(1)(a)), obtained via a tick box and confirmed by email.
• Measuring website traffic: consent, obtained via the cookie banner.
• Keeping the website secure: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Retention periods

• Contact messages: three years after our last exchange. Where we work together, the statutory retention periods for accounting records apply.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any issue.
• Traffic statistics: XX months maximum.
• Hosting provider’s technical data: XX.

Recipients

Your data is accessible to the AKA COM team and to the following service providers, solely for the purposes of their work:

• Infomaniak Network SA: website and email hosting, in Switzerland;
• XX: newsletter delivery;
• XX: traffic measurement.

These providers act on our instructions, under a contract compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR. Your data is never sold, rented or transferred.

Transfers outside the European Union

The website is hosted in Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection. Any other transfer outside the European Economic Area would be governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• access to your data and to a copy of it;
• rectification;
• erasure;
• restriction of processing and objection;
• portability;
• withdrawal of your consent at any time, without affecting any prior processing.
